Narrated by John Goodman, the Ole War Skule includes over 75 interviews from LSU coaches, Golden Band members, cheerleaders, football staff, coach's wives, and Tiger football greats such as Y.A. Tittle, Billy Cannon, Bert Jones, Jerry Stovall, Coach Miles, Glen Dorsey, and many others.
In addition, the film takes viewers behind the scenes and around the world, from Waterford, Ireland, where the BCS National Championship trophies are made and Austin, Texas, where Balfour makes the National Championship rings, to the grass of Tiger Stadium, where painters walk 2.5 miles per end zone to prepare the field for Saturday night. The filmmakers' goal was to show LSU football from an entirely new perspective.
